Turning On Outside Water

Now that spring has sprung, it’s time to grab your garden hose and work outside the house. Many of you may have “frost proof” sill cocks. It would be wise to have someone in the basement the first time you turn the water on outside to avoid finding a burst pipe and water damage. The extreme cold we had may have caused the faucet portion inside the house to burst after the seal - you won’t know it’s a problem until you turn the water on outside.
